The blues, oranges and yellows create a balance between energy and calm, while the fragmented layers suggest the complexity of identity. Rather than presenting a perfect image, the painting reveals a figure shaped by experience, change and resilience.
Like much of my work, Solace is an exploration of what lies beneath the surface and the many layers that make us who we are.
